After starting his career as a research associate at University of Exeter, Dr Paneri joined Brunel University as a research fellow under Dr Harjit Singh. There, he gained first-hand expertise in the solar thermal powered applications. With this experience as its foundation, the Arktik Renewables team has taken an initiative to commercialise solar thermal concentrators for different industrial applications designed by Dr Harjit Singh. The developed solar thermal concentrators are next generation which can be modified to supply heat from low temperature to 300℃ for different industrial applications. One of the major sector where Arktik is focusing to supply solar thermal powered cold storages and driers for horticultural purpose.

TT 950 classic is a board shape microporous insulation material approved in many insulation applications. It has an application temperature up to 950℃.TT 950 classic features good handling and machining properties; the extremely low thermal conductivity provides excellent insulating properties with reduced thickness allowing to design equipment with the benefits of highest energy efficiency, space optimization and reduction of weight.

Demand for energy efficiency has increased drastically in recent years and this trend will continue in the future. Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) are cutting-edge insulation technology which can be used to meet the energy efficiency requirements in a range of applications. ​ For example, in current scenario, buildings and appliances are insulated with materials, such as fiberglass, foams (k-value >18 mW/m/K). Usage of VIPs (thermal conductivity: 1/10 of foam) would significantly reduce their overall energy consumption and improve their energy efficiency index whilst maximising the usable inner volume.​Our team of experts have a rich experience of manufacturing, testing and supplying VIPs of various types. Currently, our VIPs can be categorised in the following three types and multiple sizes:

In todays time even when the food production has increased substantial amount of food is lost. Most of the food loss is noticed in post harvest and distribution stages. Many new initiatives are taken to introduce cold storages to reduce the food loss in the supply chain. In countries where grid infrastructure is not strong it is difficult to provide required amount of electricity for the cold storage. Arktiks cold storages are solar thermal powered to provide the amount of heat energy required to cool down the storage. These types of cold storages are independent of grid power and requires very little amount of electricity which is powered by solar panels. The same cold storage can also be converted into drier to dry different food produce. This type of product helps in increasing the efficiency and a large quantity of produce can be dried continuously.
