In the year 1999, Balkrishna Tharad established Balkrishna Udyog with a brand name of “Balaji Chaukhat” in Mau’s Industrial Estate and started manufacturing of Door and Window frames by casting cement (RCC). Presented as a better and sustainable alternative to wood, these door frames started earning the love and support of the public in no time. Like his hardworking and far-sighted father Mr. Bhawani Shankar Tharad, Balkrishna Tharad is also an enthusiastic young entrepreneur with commercial image and creativity, who is developing industrybusiness as environment-friendly. After obtaining an engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology – Mesra, Ranchi in the year1993, from 1993 to 1999, he did an extensive research on the alternative of Wooden frames. After a long research, the alternative of Wooden Door frame was presented as Balaji Door frame which is made by casting cement. Today, alkrishna Tharad is creating a new history not only in the field of Door and Window frames but also developing other cement products such as Bed, Desk Bench, Park Bench, Bench whose wooden alternative was difficult to think of. Balkrishna Tharad, a distinguished businessman, has set up this enterprise for the production of building construction materials, taking an initiative to guard the environment along with industrialtrade. With the inspiration of his father, a commendable effort has been made to control the felling of lacs of trees every year by introducing the highest quality cement (RCC) products as an alternative to Wood. Through his regular research, he makes continuous effort to introduce new products in the market.
