Manufacturing For Jewellery Manufacturers For Over 10 Years The birth of S.D. JEWELLERYS would be best explained through the journey of its Founder. The Founder of S.D. JEWELLERYS, Mr. Milind Gujar was a chance entry into the jewellery industry as no one from his family had even considered business. Having completed his education, he did a Motor Mechanic Course from Fr.Agnels while he was completing his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Patuck Technical Institute. He was keen to make it in the Automotive Industry, but the grease and grime gave way to health hazards there. That’s when he chose an alternative career option and jewellery manufacturing just happened through a friend’s introduction to the industry. A look at his evolution: Started off in the jewellery industry in Intergold SEEPZ as a trainee Diamond Setter in 1993 and continued to master the same for 6 years. Because of his high literacy and exposure, he was made Head of Wax Setting by 1998. In 2003, he moved on to Renaissance Jewellery as Head of Wax & Wax Setting. 2004 was when the Business Bug struck and he started a small unit for diamond grooving and was also undertaking contract labour projects under his name. By 2010, he decided to focus on the new evolving business of Miracle Plates and made S.D.Jewellerys as a separate unit with his wife and a team of family workers.
